Keep Adventuring, Company Retreat

The Brief

Take 465 people out of London for a four-day company offsite retreat. Design, produce and deliver all aspects of the retreat and manage the live event. Source venue. Guest Management. Travel Logistics. Event identity and all graphics required. Accommodation. All food and catering requirements. All entertainment and activities from morning to evening. Design three evening events for all to enjoy. Produce the conference, workshops, tutorials and talks.

The Idea

‘Keep Adventuring’: we will take people on an unforgettable journey both literally and metaphorically. We will design a retreat which encourages a feeling of well-being in connection to the Company and the co-workers you are sharing the journey with.

The Result

We looked after every detail of the event from initial invites with map co-ordinates of the destination to all travel arrangements needed to get to the venue. Working with a resort in a destination out of England we re-designed several areas turning them into games lounges, lodges, food markets, a pub, stages, etc.

We implemented a huge choice of activities both on and off site which encouraged connection and a sense of well-being and ensured guests were looked after by a team of guest managers from morning until night. Guests also had every catering requirement taken care of within different areas and bespoke menus, refreshment, snack and coffee stations carefully curated to suit all.

We facilitated the internal conference across several venues within one venue each day accommodating very last minute schedule add ins, attendee sign up and room layout changes.

The entire retreat culminated in one evening event whereby a sustainable forest was re-created in detail within an indoor space for all to enjoy a final sit down meal and bespoke interactive quiz alongside a very special performance before leading on to a super fun after party.

The attention to detail and creativity applied throughout the entire event was second to none and raised the bar of what had been previously achieved.

It was my first working experience with We Are Family and I can honestly say you have exceeded all expectations despite reputation. The creative and production teams were efficient, well organised and extremely pleasant to work with. Their attention to detail was staggering. I have worked on many events with numerous world first class companies and rate this experience with WAF as one of the most professional and enjoyable.
