Facebook hosted an event to show how brands can better grab the attention of their audiences and commissioned WAF to help them design and organise this event for over 200 industry professionals.
Inspired by the theme, we wanted to design a brand identity that took influence from traffic wayfinding signage - with its attention grabbing colours and patterns, that would fit within an already brightly coloured space. Using this design concept, we wanted to create several distinct break-out spaces, food experiences, entertainment and photo opportunities to draw out social content from the event.
The brand identity flowed through the entire event, from large branded panels and screens, to the smallest details in floral, table runners and name-cards for a high-end breakfast event. We had a variety of Instagrammable treats for guests to load up on, a 10ft selfie stick photo app, and as well as Joy Crookes performing to a captive audience.
