The Brief

The We Are Family London team were asked to closely support Facebook launch their BRiM initiative in a virtual environment. BRiM is a new cross-industry initiative to improve the representation of Black people in marketing.

The Idea

We created a branded platform to access and watch content on the day of the launch, worked alongside Facebook to film and edit the sessions, as well as designed supporting assets including; a 3 minute opening animation to give context for BRiM and showcase the faces and voices of those supporting the initiative. We also produced event sizzle reels to showcase a quick rewind of the event.

The Result

The BRiM initiative was unveiled during the event, and guests heard from leaders, influencers and commentators in the industry on why this focus must be given, and why now, aiming to leave guests feeling inspired to take action. The event was very well received with a total of 1,820 guests watching live, and lots taking to social media to further promote and highlight the importance of the initiative.
