Facebook International Women's Day

The Brief

International Women's Day celebrated for another year at Facebook headquarters in London with 360 guests invited for breakfast talks, entertainment and networking. The brief was to design and deliver an engaging event space and a considered guest journey that would help to build equity in the newly launched #SheMeansBusiness brand, show support for female led business and provide a stage for Facebook as a leader and advocate for women in leadership and inclusion.

The Idea

Distilling the #SheMeansBusiness brand was crucial in developing the visual narrative across all event touchpoints. Stairs embodied the support, boost and development offered to the community and was adopted as design narrative in each of the build and graphic design assets.

The Result

The stage was design to offer full flexibility for the many guests including an interview with Twiggy and a performance from the Suagarbabes.visually striking in colour in keeping with the branding and with an asymmetrical linear backdrop with touches of floral..Breakfast tables were thoughtfully considered to cater for 10 guests at each table, with sharing platter, styled with crisp white tableware juxtaposed with bold spring, modern florals. The networking space included a headshot studio, a bespoke pop-up boutique showcasing several SMBs products, a donation station for clothing and a tea and coffee area.
