Sport England asked us to work closely with a brand new multi-agency team to deliver a virtual event launching their new strategy: Uniting The Movement, which is Sport England's radical 10 years vision for change across the sport and physical activity sector uniting partners around the critical role movement can play in tackling some big issues within society.
We created an online event featuring keynotes and interactive talks by athletes, sports entrepreneurs, charities and the deputy chief medical officer for England, Dr Jenny Harries. Former international footballer & broadcaster Robbie Savage had a one to one with a junior speaker and in between the talks we showed insightful data on activity in the UK. For the start and end of the event we created motion graphics incorporating the speakers and attendees to the 'Uniting the Movement' ethos by showing how they themselves like to get active - truly uniting everyone into a movement!
The online event exceeded all expectations with over 5000 guests, and the hashtag #UnitingTheMovement making it to the second most trending topic across Twitter that day, without the use of any paid media.
