The Brief

For International Women's Day 2021 Facebook asked us to elevate the conversation based around the global theme of #choosetochallenge and take the event online for their guests.

The Idea

Facebook's theme was ‘We Can. We Will.’ We wanted to take this and design an event which was highly intuitive to navigate yet remain intimate and engaging for attendees.

The Result

Bespoke artwork was produced by a hello Sola, a female illustrator, to brand the event. This framed the event website used to house the agenda, speaker line-up, downloadable digital swag, as well as a dedicated page to showcase 9 female owned small businesses.

328 guests, alongside 1.2K internal guests, tuned in on the day to watch an incredible line up of 11 female leaders in business, culture and health, speak about how we can work together to overcome the challenges faced by women.

The event was quoted as "life-changing" and "inspiring" by attendees, and content was described as ''genuinely ground-breaking'' and ''fresh''.
