Cannes Executive Founders Dinner

Overview

We were asked to create an elevated, immersive experience at Cannes Lion Festival of Creativity, that placed Reddit’s unique power of authentic, community driven conversation at the heart of an evening. It needed to be a manifestation of the conversations that make Reddit distinct: a place where real conversations take shape culture, unlock insights and inspire new bold thinking.


The Bigger Picture

The remit was to bring Reddit’s USP–conversation–to life in unexpected, engaging ways. Introducing and integrating Reddit’s new product, ‘Community Intelligence’, by showing its real world value: how community conversations reveal insights, trends and untapped creative potential for agencies to give to their clients. At the same time, we needed to ensure an intimate event to foster meaningful new relationships with senior agency leaders, with an emphasis on net-new engagement.

From Idea to Impact

Set against the stunning vista of Ville Belle Plage in Cannes, we delivered considered styled moments to spark dialogue and discovery. Conversation-starters were woven into the seating, content, entertainment and design. On stage Rick Astley and James Blake entertained guests into the evening, with intimate performances under the nights sky. The client wrote to say ‘every detail was beautifully thought through and flawlessly executed’.
