A special screening event to celebrate the launch of ‘I Came By’, creating a unique experience for guests while generating conversation ahead of its release on Netflix. The goal was to immerse attendees in the film’s world, building suspense and tension without revealing key plot points. The experience needed to seamlessly shift from one atmosphere to another, leading guests into a darker, more unsettling space before the screening.
We created an immersive environment that transported guests into the lead character’s private world, transforming the venue into an art gallery and back store room, featuring the film’s signature tag and set dressings. Attendees were invited to leave their own mark by tagging artwork and were gifted black bandanas as part of the experience. The event featured high end food and drink offerings, along with two dedicated photo opportunities (a press line and a feature step & repeat), to capture talent and VIP guests. The screening welcomed 190 attendees, including cast members Hugh Bonneville and Kelly Macdonald, filmmaker Babak Anvari, as well as press, awards voters, content creators, and The Telegraph competition winners.
